My first paintings were still lifes inspired by the work of Morandi. Morandi was known for his still life paintings that often depicted simple objects, such as bottles and bowls, in a way that imbued them with a sense of quiet beauty and contemplation. It's clear that his work has had a lasting impact on my own artistic vision and approach to still life painting.
In my paintings, I use vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes to create dynamic and engaging compositions. I often incorporate symbols and imagery that reflect the themes that I am exploring, that represent the challenges of the hero's journey.
